I ordered a customized 120gb from Zune Originals. Here is the unboxing pics. First, it comes in a nice white box with gold Zune logo and "ORIGINALS" watermark on the side. It comes with the zune inside a soft pouch, a poster of the artwork of choice, and a thank you letter. The Zune comes in a nice pouch with the zune logo embossed onto the front The device with my artwork of choice and inscription. Then there is the envelope with a index sized copy of the artwork with thank you note and artist name. And last is the poster of the artwork by Kenzo Minami Also, Kykle is what my 2 year old niece calls me. She mixed uncle with Kyle. The name kinda stuck.

They've been engraving them for at least a year now- i think longer but i found a neat story last week that definitely referenced engraving them last year. http://imav8n.wordpress.com/2008/09/25/zune-warranty-coolness/

thanks sandfire I didn't know you get all this stuff with the originals I think when I buy my 120 I will purchase it from originals Very nice, but how does it look with a black Speck ToughSkin? i was thinking it could be pretty cool if they made the toughskin just go around the perimeter of the zune since those protective bumps don't let the zune touch anything except for them if you were to drop it

Ya, you can custom engrave up to five lines I believe of your own text for free. If you want artwork, it will cost 10-15 dollars more.

Actually, the ability to do both artist artwork (the real stuff, such as the Minami piece above) AND text is indeed new since the 120GB Zunes. When I bought my red 80, the options were either text, text with 'stock' artwork (designed internally at Microsoft, I assume), or artist artwork. I would have certainly added text engraving to mine had it been an option. By the way, I also got Minami's design engraved; it's amazing! Congrats on your purchase!

Text on a full art option wasn't available when I ordered my 80 Original. Wonder if this is new with the 120 or if it was quietly slipped in after a while with the 80/4/8.

I dont know what the 80GB earphone look like, but the ones I got are the in-ear type with a cloth wrapping around the cords.

Oh REALLY? Could the 120s be coming with the Premium 'phones if ordered from ZuneOriginals, then? If so, that's something they should be boasting about!
