February 05, 2007 http://zuneinsider.com/archive/2007/02/05/zune-net-update-tomorrow-account-management.aspxHope everyone had a great weekend. Me? Good, but bummed about the Bears. Tomorrow, around 10 AM (PDT), the support page on Zune.net will update, giving you the ability to manage your account from a web browser - no need to sign into the client. This will enable a few things, like: Update, change, or cancel your Zune Pass subscription Buy Points Change the password on your 'Tag Update your credit card info, view your statement More Check it out tomorrow.

Hm. I don't really see anything exciting there, with the exception of being able to change your tag for those who don't have Xbox Live. Otherwise, being able to do all that stuff in your web browser seems a little pointless since chances are if you're at your computer you can fire up the Zune software and do all that anyway. Besides, you've always been able to purchase points and such through a web browser by signing in to the Windows Live page and going to the "Account" section.

Well, the fact that they are browser enabling some features is pretty cool. I'm sure all this is something laying foundation for other functionality in the "near?" future.

Well, I know they just kicked off a rewards program for Xbox, so maybe Zune's next.
