Zune.net: release imminent?

Zune launch in the U.S. is two weeks from today. We are getting very excited about getting our hands on a Zune player and giving it a road test of our own.

This afternoon, Cesar of ZuneInsider posted a comment on his site, indicating that Microsoft will be "launching Zune.net very soon".

Reading between the lines (hey, that's what bloggers do), I take that to mean prior to the November 14 launch date.

I just checked the site seconds ago. (I know, I'm obsessing.) So far, not up.

But I'm going to keep checking. Here's the link: www.zune.net. If you click it and find the site has come up, give us all a heads up!

In fact, I'll reward you with a limited-edition rarely-found-outside-of-Redmond Zune sticker (part of my haiku booty) to the first person to alert us when zune.net comes to life.

so far i like the website and i wonder if...

1) we will be able to download the software before zune releases
2) if they will sell Zune's from the website. like special edition, engravings and etc.
