Some things like
- the volume indicator goes up to 40. It can indicate a louder Zune or a better fine tuning of the volume.
- Album artwork when browsing by Album looks bigger than on the current firmware
- Artist name doesn't show on not selected albums when you browse by Album
- Home screen font is a bit transparent
- Now videos includes a thumbnail on top instead of the video name
- the dotted circle (for sync and wifi transfers) was replace with a set of blinking stars or something

I like the changes I've seen/noticed so far.
I wonder how much of this can be changed on our 30's with the new firmware.

I'm fairly sure that UI on the 30 and 80 will be the same with the firmware update.

If you pay close attention, the "blinking stars or something" are actually in the shape of the zune emblem. Kinda cool and a nice touch.  |

- You can see the progress of a sync, sharing, etc. I am STILL not liking the homepage. Actually it would be cool if Zune 30 owners could use the hold homepage style.  I need to check the videos again because I thought the thumbnails you are referring to were just for video podcasts. Anyway I am looking forward to seeing the Zune 30 with the new firmware in a video. |

I need to check the videos again because I thought the thumbnails you are referring to were just for video podcasts. Video and video podcast both have the thumbnails. The blink/flash when a option is selected on the Home screen. |

Cool, glad there is thumbnails. Which video showed that? The one with the guy looking at it or the one made by Microsoft?

I still think the main menu font is way too large. When Zaff Sans commented on the font I thought it was just place holder art for the non-functioning demos. The rest of the UI after that is actually pretty nice, but man, that main page  The Zune gets pretty loud as it is at 20, so I think it is just finer tuning. |

I think the larger album art is due to the fact that the screen is about .2" large than the current Zune, unless I read that incorrectly

My fav feature is when you change the songs the album cover swipes from right to left to the next songs. it looks cool
