That looks mighty legit to me. Come on people, calling anything out of the norm fake and demanding that he provide proof or shut up is pretty immature. That looks exactly like the software shown in the videos, and it is clear that it is just a beta that accidentally got listed on Windows Update. That isn't very far fetched, and he has nothing to gain by posting this if it's fake. Honestly...
In any case, thanks for the extra screen shots. Too bad it isn't filled in yet; I would have liked to have seen how the podcast section was laid out.

People it looks legit to me but that is not my point. someone here comes and tries to share something with us and then you all start flaming him or being so negative. See live the positive way i these forums and we would probably have more regulars and new sign ups on the site  |

ok i see what you mean (picture wise) i too have windows vista i have not seen the update, i am sure that it is a matter of updates were there and you happened to witness the new zune theme and it went back obviously and i guess it is like you say it went back, if you get an update everyone whould get that possibly only vista I DON;T KNOW BUT why not?

The Zune About picture has a "<TBD>" for Product ID ... WARNING: He's either someone who has stolen this software from Microsoft or a Microsoft employee leaking illegally ... i tend to agree with you, although about the suspicious nature of this. i mean think about this, by the posters own admission the software is not finished and MS accidentally released the zune software on a 'windows update'? i am not saying that the software is not legit, i am just saying that receiving it via windows update is highly...make that HIGHLY questionable. "though I don't know why no one else has seen it yet." how many window users are there in the US and no one has gotten this yet? hmm.... the OP got his 15 minutes of fame so just let the clock run out. |

Some of the responses on this thread are absolutely ridiculous. I have no desire to deceive strangers on the Internet as to the version of my Zune software. I came here with information hoping someone else would have seen this update and gotten it to function, since it isn't functioning for me outside of viewing my library. They are a great Aussie band! Interesting that you got that update though, i am thinking that something happened to mine as well, cause i have been finding it hard to sync... the zune opens the software, but it just endlessly searches for devices eventually giving up! |

You'll have to pardon that many people have seen many photochops relating to the Zune.
In the taskbar it says ***TEST*** beside the Zune icon.
Wouldn't that strike you as strange as well? So far, that I've found, you're the only person with this issue/item.
