Hey! I've got some big news for you! Remember that Zune.com domain? The one that used to be used owned by a haggler from Spain is now owned by Microsoft according to a recent Whois search. Links are below.

The question: Why isn't Microsoft using the domain? They bought it, they've struggled to purchase is. Why not use it!?

Pretty Big News, Pretty big news indeed!

Pretty interesting find there, Aaron! Even if they don't end up using the domain, the acquisition is worthwhile if only to keep unsuspecting folks from visiting a site that MS has no control over. The previous owner probably made out like a bandit in that deal. Smiley

It's about time. They should've done this a year and a half ago. Zune.net is lame.

Zune.com was not for sale! The owner refused to sell till they finally agreed on the price (undisclosed) ... so I guess Microsoft didn't have a choice.

Hmmm ... I actually like zune.net better -- Zune.net has a nice ring to it -- it is the Zune Network -- zune official site, social and forums!

In any case this is not such a big deal ...
